National Mobile Application Trainer

NewsToday the 16th June, 2015, Tuesday a Seminar titled National Mobile Application Trainer and Innovative Apps Development was held at Chittagong Engineering and Technology University. Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Dr.Mohammed Jahangir Alam was the Chief Guest of the Seminar while Pro Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Mohammed Rafiqul Alam attended the Seminar as Special Guest. Mr. G Fakhruddin Ahmed Chowdhury, Program Director of the Program and Additional Secretary, ICT Division  of the Government Chaired the function. Apart from them Mr.MA Mubin Khan, Managing Director of EATL- implementation partner of the Program apartment of Computer Science and Engineering Department Professor Dr. Mohammed Moshiul Huq were also present in the Seminar. Dr. Rajesh Palit, CTA, EATL presented the Key Note Speech. The Government of Bangladesh has taken this initiative to bring its information and services to the doorstep of the general mass through mobile apps. With that end in view  17 public and private Universities have been taken under this training program. Apart from that to create awareness among the public and trainees about the use of mobile apps and also to collect their feedback 7 seminars have been  arranged in 7 divisions of the country.

Chief Guest of the function Professor Dr.Mohammad Jahangir Alam in his speech elaborated different aspects of information technology. He further stated that expansion of information technology created enormous impact in the economy of the Country and this initiative would be a milestone in transforming Bangladesh as a Digital Bangladesh.
